SUNS SWEPT AWAY BY INTIMIDATORS WITH 14-INNING LOSS
HAGERSTOWN, MD -- After jumping to a 2-0 lead in the fourth inning, the Hagerstown Suns (1-8) went scoreless over the next ten frames, eventually falling, 6-2, to the Kannapolis Intimidators (6-2) following a four-run top of the fourteenth.

Kannapolis Arrives for First Home Series of Second Half
The Hagerstown Suns will open the second half of their 2009 home schedule with a four-game series against the Kannapolis Intimidators that begins Tuesday at Municipal Stadium. The series will allow Suns fans to get an early start celebrating the Fourth of July weekend, with a Military Appreciation Night Thirsty Thursday and a July 3 installment of Friday Night Fireworks.

The Hagerstown Suns will once again be hosting their annual kids baseball camp. This summer the camp will be run by Suns manager Matt LeCroy, a former Major League Baseball player, who in the off-season runs a camp of his own.
