TIE GAME BETWEEN SUNS AND GRASSHOPPERS SUSPENDED

GREENSBORO, NC – The game on Sunday, April 27th between the Hagerstown Suns and the Greensboro Grasshoppers has been suspended due to rain with the score tied 2-2. The game will resume starting in the top of the 6th inning with no outs when the Grasshoppers play their next series in Hagerstown.

The Suns jumped out to an early 2-0 lead, scoring a single run in each of the first two innings, but gave up two runs with two outs in the bottom of the fifth inning to tie the game.

The game was suspended as soon as the fifth inning finished.

The Suns return home to face the West Virginia Power on Tuesday, April 29th at 6:35 P.M. Gates will open at Municipal Stadium at 5:35 P.M.
